Mr. A. K. M Sajedur Rahman Khan

Mr. A. K. M Sajedur Rahman Khan is a career banker currently in a key position as Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank (The Central Bank of Bangladesh). He has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank on December 03, 2020. Prior to the appointment, Mr. Khan served as Managing Director of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB), a specialized Bank for Agricultural Finance in Bangladesh. He also served as Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Limited, the largest commercial Bank of Bangladesh. 

Mr. Khan completed his B.Sc (Hons.) and M.Sc in Economics from Jahangirnagar University, a reputed Government University of Bangladesh. He also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application Program from Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM). He is a Diplomaed Associate of Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh.

In his notable career, Mr. Khan attended various workshops, seminars and training held in Bangladesh and abroad. He visited many countries including U.K., U.S.A, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India etc. to discharge official engagements.
