On 26th January 2024, APRACA and CGIAR hub for Sustainable Finance (ImpcatSF) organized regional workshop on De-Risking agriculture portfolio of banks, improving financial returns while generating and reporting ESG impacts in Bangkok. The workshop was attended by 6 APRACA member institutions from ASEAN. The workshop was co-designed by the CGIAR and APRACA to offer a deeper understanding of the challenges such as quantifying risk, generation, and reporting of ESG impacts from the agriculture lending portfolio, raising climate finance etc.) being faced by the banks in the region. The participants got the opportunity to interact with the CGIAR experts and received hands-on experience of using the ‘ImpactSF tool’.
