APRACA Chairman met with the CEO in Cooperative Banking of NACF, Korea

Mr. Pal Buy Bonnang, Chairman of APRACA visited National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF) of Korea on September 25, 2012 and met with Mr. Jong-Hyun Choi, President and CEO in Cooperative Banking. Mr. Choi is in charge of supporting cooperative banking business of some 1,200 member agricultural cooperatives of NACF whose banking asset amounted to US$ 205 billion as of end of 2011.
Mr. Bonnang and Mr. Choi discussed common interests between the two organizations and agreed to collaborate each other for the development of agricultural finance in Korea as well as in Asia and the Pacific. Two Executive Vice Presidents of NACF including Mr. Jong-Seok Lee and Mr. Young-Chan Chang had the sitting with Mr. Choi while Mr. Won-Sik Noh, Secretary General also attended the meeting from APRACA side .

APRACA Chairman was offered a visit to the Korea Finance Supervisory Service, NACF Cooperative College and Won-dang Agricultural Cooperative by the arrangement of NACF after the meeting with Mr. Choi.
