Dr. Prasun Kumar Das, APRACA Secretary General who is also chairing the #SAFIN Steering committee joined the SAFIN annual plenary meeting held in Rome. The doers and intellectuals from the #SAFIN partners gathered in Rome to collectively strengthen existing, and build new, relationships for greater impact on the ground. The discussions and partners engagement in examining the efficacy of various financial instruments (blended finance, first loss mechanism, warehouse receipt etc.) was extremely exciting and provided opportunities for future engagements. #APRACA being one of the founding member partner of #SAFIN is committed to support the objectives of the network with its strong presence in Asia-Pacific region and actively engaged with the policy makers to influence the narratives of the local nuances in accessing finance by all actors in agri value chains. Thanks to the great work done by the SAFIN secretariat for carefully designing and delivering a dynamic and rewarding convening.
